Product Description
Antimony trioxide, also known as diantimony trioxide or antimony(III) oxide, is a white inorganic powder with the chemical formula Sb₂O₃. Its principal industrial application is as a synergist in halogenated flame-retardant formulations.
When used together with suitable halogen-containing components, antimony trioxide helps improve the fire performance of plastics, rubber, textiles, coatings and other polymer systems. It is also used as a functional or opacifying additive in selected glass, ceramic and enamel applications.
